ISSUES AT LARGE:
NPA's Progress, Problems and Victories, from Last Year to the Next
As soon as the 2000 conference ended last April, NPA groups began planning new strategies for NPA's 30th annual conference. Throughout the year campaigns have changed dramatically. Each year NPA groups tackle a new problem within their communities while others continue to fight keep their victories throughout the years. Issues have evolved and demands have changed. This year's conference reflects these changes and offers over a dozen workshops to attend throughout Saturday night and Sunday morning. The next three pages offer a brief synopsis of the progress, problems and victories of campaigns from the past year while continuing to set the tone for NPA's 30th annual conference and into the year 2001.
